My name is Libby Addison. I am fast approaching my sixties and I embrace them. I was raised in the South, which you will be able to detect in my musings. I was raised to have a strong faith in Jesus Christ, which I am very thankful for. It defines me as a woman, daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother in law, and now grandmother.
Chris is my husband of almost 35 years. We met in a singles Sunday school class and the rest is history. We have raised three children who are all grown up and married. We have two precious granddaughters and a dachshund named Olly. You will be seeing lots of pictures and hearing anecdotes of our family along the way.
We love to dine at nice restaurants and take a trip every now and then. But on any given evening you can find us watching Hallmark movies and sipping Chardonnay in the back room.
There has been a gradual shift in my life since first starting this blog. What began as an empty nester lifestyle has slowly but purposely incorporated a minimalist lifestyle.
I hope that I can offer encouragement to the many people our age who look around after the children are grown and gone and say, “What do we do with all of this STUFF?”
I will be sharing with you what we have done and how we did it.
